Community Service:
The Jaycees have built parks, playgrounds, hospitals, ball fields
and housing for the elderly while conducting service and support
programs in thousands of communities across the nation. They
help establish AirMail services in America with Jaycee Charles
Lindbergh, and have raised millions of dollars for causes such as
Muscular Dystrophy Association, March of Dimes, and the Junior
Chamber Mission Inn Foundation.
Locally, the Severna Park Jaycees are involved in the Baybridge Run,
park cleanups, Holiday Meals, assist SPAN with Easter Basket meals,
support to the
troops, Hugh O'Brian Youth Foundation, Lupus and cancer
5K walks, Relay for Life, Easter egg hunt, and
July 4th festival and parade.
